Delete your frinq data
In the app (instant)
- Go to app.frinq.in and sign in with your number (or Google/Apple).
- Open Your data.
- Type delete my data, then tap Delete.
It's done straight away. You'll get a reference number.
Without signing in
Send a request at frinq.in/privacy-choices or email hello@frinq.in from any address. Give us the number you used on frinq. We'll send a code to that number to confirm it's you, then delete. This takes up to 45 days, and usually much less.
What gets deleted
Everything we hold that's linked to your number or sign-in account:
- your answers, including unfinished ones and every saved copy;
- your read;
- your voice recordings and their transcripts;
- your photos, with their captions and stories;
- your record of screens viewed and taps in the app;
- your WhatsApp and text replies to us;
- your consent history.
We keep one line saying a deletion happened: the date, the reason, how many records, and a scrambled code that can't be turned back into your number. It contains nothing about you.
What takes longer, or isn't in our hands
- Our service providers keep their own logs for their own periods: for example, Twilio's record of the sign-in codes sent to you, and our AI provider's short-term processing logs. We can't delete those directly.
- Website analytics collected on frinq.in (Google, Microsoft, Meta) aren't linked to your frinq account, so we can't find them by your number. Use Your privacy choices to stop future collection.
- People we introduced you to may remember what they saw. We can't delete that.
If you just want to stop being matched
In Your data, turn off Personal answers used for matching. We delete those answers and pause introductions, and keep the rest of your account.
